| Abstrakt CZ: | Příspěvek si klade za cíl zmapovat výskyt studijních programů zaměřených na odborný francouzský jazyk na českých vysokých školách a dále analyzovat obsah těchto studijních programů. |
| Abstrakt EN: | We have conducted a survey of the programs of study of all Czech university workplaces concerned with French as a philological discipline in order to find out if they offer also instruction in the professional, or possibly scholarly, French language. It has been determined that a considerable difference exists between traditional university workplaces (Praha, Brno, Olomouc), and workplaces which came into existence after 1989 (České Budějovice, Plzeň, Hradec Králové, Ostrava). Notwithstanding that, most philological workplaces are offering with increasing frequency fields of study based on applied French ? related above all to economics, business and tourism. Some specialized subjects (such as the language of French law, business correspondence) penetrate even fields of study conceived as philological. Educational programs for future French teachers do not take into account the teachers? need to accommodate the diversity of the linguistic needs of secondary school students in specialized schools. The latter need could be satisfied by the inclusion of the methodology of French for Specific Purposes (FOS) in the training of teachers. |
